Hydraulic Disc Pad Hardware Kit
The hydraulic disc brake operates on a straightforward yet highly effective principle. At its core, it relies on a hydraulic system to create the necessary force for braking. When the driver presses the brake pedal, this action initiates a chain reaction within the hydraulic system. The pressure generated is then transferred to the wheel cylinders. This pressure pushes the pistons inside the wheel cylinders, which in turn causes the friction pads mounted on the brake calipers to firmly grasp the rotating brake disc. As the friction pads come into contact with the disc, frictional force is produced, converting the vehicle's kinetic energy into heat energy and effectively slowing down the rotation of the wheels.
The hydraulic system is a well - coordinated assembly of components. It includes a hydraulic pump that generates pressure, an oil tank for storing hydraulic oil, pipelines for transmitting the pressurized oil, and control valves for regulating flow and pressure.
